TreeBuilding Technology

When Redwood Trees are grown very close to one-another, the trees merge into a singular structure. Because Redwood Trees have this natural biological feature, we can create Redwood TreeBuildings by strategically planting Redwood Trees to create the external walls for building structures. We can then use tree shaping techniques to create roofing and additional floor levels within the Redwood TreeBuildings. Electroculture and Magnetoculture technologies developed in Tree-Stump Technology Level 3: Underground Technology will enable TreeBuildings to grow additional floor levels within reasonable time spans for city development, creating a new floor level around every 5 years once the foundations of the TreeBuilding have been established. TreeBuilding Technology is the Basis for first generation Eco-City Infrastructure.

Structural Layouts

We strategically plant Redwood Trees in the ground to create the walling of a building structure. The walls will eventually grow into a single tree. Atleast 3-5 layers of Trees will be layered next to each-other to create extra thick walls. When we want to create the roofing to a floor level, the interior tree-heads of the structure will then be redirected from the vertical growth into a diagonal growth growing directly towards the center of the TreeBuilding. When all of the diagonal treetops reach the center, they will then be redirected into a vertical upward direction. These trees will eventually merge into a single tree and over time the roof of the first floor will merge into a single formation.

To create additional levels of flooring for the TreeBuilding, the roofing of the floor below will be redirected to grow horizontally outward towards the walls, meeting in a higher altitude of the original location of the original walls. Once the trees get very close to the original wall, we then redirect the growth vertically upward so the trees will then merge harmoniously back with the original Tree walls. This method can be repeated indefinitely throughout the growth of the TreeBuilding to offer additional floor levels and structural support for the TreeBuilding.

These building designs offer an optimal structural layout for reforestation of areas in Humboldt which have already been clear cut by the lumbering industry. This also offers a greater incentive to this industry to accumulate far more profits through the reforestation of the county, rather than the deforestation of it. TreeBuildings have the potential to grow as large as skyscrapers, increasing the realty market for Living Redwood Trees to over 100-1000x what the Timber Market can produce from dead trees. This method turns the (supposed) mission of Arcata for protecting the forest into a practical reality in which all parties of the situation can optimally benefit from.

Underground technology will be integrated into TreeBuilding Infrastructure to enable the TreeBuildings to grow both high-rise levels and subterranean levels. The Underground Technology will also assist with adding additional structural support to the root systems of the TreeBuildings, strengthening the foundation for the TreeBuilding Structures. Multiple Redwood Trees growing into a singular larger tree with a hollow interior will also add additional levels of wind resistance to keep the Redwood Trees from wobbling during high wind intensities.

This system of structuring can be used in modern cities along the western coast and throughout northern hemisphere in areas of these regions where the forests have been clear-cut. This offers the best way to restore the forests and gives all members of our species the proper incentive to ensure the longevity of these forests in times to come. The bigger we allow these trees to grow, the taller the building structures we get out of them. The lifespan of a solid building may range around 100 years. Redwood Trees have an average lifespan of thousands of years. This is the lifespan of them in the wild. With human assistance, it becomes very likely to increase this number significantly. And even when a Redwood dies, it’s stump is used for new Redwood to grow in its place.
